Aim, structure and tasks of the organization

    Since 1918, the pioneering period of Swiss social security insurance, Suva has developed into a modern service company. As an independant, non-profit, non-subsidies organisation under public law, it currently provides insurance cover against occupational and leisure time accidents as well as occupational diseases for more than half of the swiss workforce - more than 1.8 million men and women. The efficient networking of prevention, insurance and rehabilitation represents a unique range of services.
